Integration of 20:20 and Dextra sees Price move to Middle East job

20:20 Mobile has merged the Dextra accessories and prepay business with its 20:20 Logistics handsets and prepay operation.

Have a single business was a widely anticipated to be the first part of CEO Meinie Oldersma’s restructure earlier in the year.

The changes have pushed Dextra chief, James Browning, into the role of MD for the whole group, taking the reins across both divisions.

20:20 handset boss Trevor Price has been moved into the job of Middle East MD.

As part of the changes Oldersma has drafted in Greg Lockton from IT distributor Ingram Micro to the role of group business development director. Lockton and Oldersma had previously been colleagues at Ingram.

The company said the restructure is intended to make the company more efficient in the UK, and look at further expansion in the Middle East.

Oldersma said: ‘We live in a new world where distributors need to be more strategic and better able to react to customer-driven challenges.

‘Since joining 20:20 I have been clear that the company has to be ready to take a look at itself and be prepared to change where necessary.’
