BT today launched its Broadband Anywhere package which comes with an HTC handset and BT’s Total Broadband service for the home.
Broadband Anywhere customers get a choice of two BT ToGo smartphones, either the HTC S620 or S710, both with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.
BT’s consumer managing director John Petter said: ‘Communications services are converging, and it is clear that customers want consistent access to the things that matter not only at home, but in the palm of their hands wherever they are.’
Packages begin at £23.99 per month (rising to £29.99 after three months) for an 18-month contract, which includes 50 minutes, 50 texts and 10MB of download allowance. The top-end package of 600 minutes and 700 texts also comes with 10MB of data will cost £53.99 (rising to £59.99).
