Orange
Orange is promoting its free fixed-line broadband this week, through its 2MB internet service. The operator has an exclusive on the BlackBerry Bold, which is free on £45 contracts.

Orange is offering its low-price £2.50 internet bundle on the Bold and the BlackBerry Curve.

3 has launched the Nokia E71 smartphone in white for £24.99.

The operator is also pushing its mobile broadband packages to existing and new customers with the offer of half-price 15GB dongles at £15.

Loyal customers buying an additional contract with 3 can enjoy 2,000 free minutes every month to anyone also on 3.

Carphone Warehouse
Carphone is set to launch O2’s fixed-line broadband with unlimited downloads. Customers can choose from four price plans according to how fast they want their broadband. O2 customers get the best price, which ranges from £7.50 for 2MB to £22.50 for 20MB, with a free router included in all tariffs.

Non-O2 customers can buy the broadband but at a higher cost. Carphone anticipates this deal will boost sales of O2 price plans in store.

Vodafone is rewarding existing customers with one-month’s free trial on
Sim-only contracts and on pay-as-you-go broadband. It has reduced the price of its 7.2Mbps dongle to £18.

Phones 4u has launched the Nokia E71 on £27 contracts, and is also pushing the U800 Pink, with the promise of a £10 donation to Breakthrough Breast Cancer with every handset sold.

O2 has lowered the price of its Sim-only tariff deal, ‘Simplicity’, from £25 to £20. The operator is also pushing customers to look at the online data storage option ‘Bluebook’. O2 is expected to give a big push for university student customers by offering in-store deals for UK campuses.
