Bob Sweetlove, General Manager, Hugh Symons
Firstly, may I thank all of our customers for the help you gave towards HSC being crowned Best Distributor – Networks at the Mobile News Awards last month. As a pure distributor we are completely dependent on the depth of our dealer base and the consistent quality of the connections you provide us. You’ve done us proud and we’re extremely appreciative.
Rather than sit back and bask in our success we’re committed to driving forward with our dealer propositions. ‘Shop’ dealers should be focusing on mobile and fixed broadband as additional revenue streams to traditional mobile handset business. They should also consider driving the growing consumer range of BlackBerry Pearl devices. These really can keep a consumer as well-connected as a business user with some cracking colour/software combinations. ‘Office’ dealers should also be broadening their product portfolio to become experts in all forms of business communications. How are your business customers harnessing the power of the internet with their devices and fixed and mobile call-routing? How well are they communicating with their customers? The answers to these questions lead you to a whole host of potential sales e.g. BlackBerry, VoIP, SMS solutions etc. However you go to market please talk to your HSC account manager about developing your ‘mobile+’ proposition.
If you are not yet trading with HSC, please either contact our New Business team on 0870 849 0202 or come and see us at Comms Solutions 2008 at Wembley Stadium on 16 and 17 April. You will be able to meet the team face to face and discuss the full range of products and services HSC can offer.
We’re also hosting our annual unity® seminar on Tuesday 13 May at the famous Ministry of Sound in London. Partner invites will be on their way shortly and we look forward to sharing our plans for the future.
