Carphone has appointed a new UK head of accessories
following the departure of Charlotte Alberry who left earlier this week.
Richard Millar has taken on the role after joining from
Tesco, where he was Telecoms Commercial Manager. Millar will report
to trading director George Dymond and is due to start next month.
Carphone is planning to expand its accessories range as it moves into areas
away from mobile, such as laptops.
A Carphone spokesperson said:
‘Charlotte Alberry has recently left The Carphone Warehouse. We
would like to thank Charlotte for her commitment and outstanding contribution
to the business during the past 2 and a half years and wish her well for the
future.’
