Carphone guns for Christmas prepay market
£3 is the cheapest phone on the market and only available at Carphone Carphone Warehouse is making an aggressive bid for the prepay market with a range of deals and widespread newspaper advertising.
It has a Motorola W180 for under £3 billed as the ‘UK’s cheapest phone’ on Orange, and four deals offering two phones at discounted prices.
The other aggressive deal at Carphone is the Nokia 6300, offered for £60.
It is looking to mitigate box-breaking with a series of new policies including credit card checks on customers in some cases.
