HSC reports 41% surge in Orange connections

HSC reports 41% surge in Orange connections - Mobile news

Increase especially strong in the Midlands, distributor says

HSC increased its Orange connections by 41% during the first quarter of this year, according to statement issued last night.

The company's sales manager, Carlos Pestana, said the increase in Orange business connections was especially strong in the Midlands.

He put this down a restructure of HSC's internal account managers, and the introduction of Tracy Miles, a senior account manager, into the region.

Pestana said: 'HSC and Orange have worked hard together to increase our Orange pay monthly business by 41% over the first quarter of the year.

'HSC has worked closely with its Orange account manager to ensure all HSC stockists are benefiting from the fantastic range of benefits open to them, such as discount approvals, maximising the 8% revenue share, marketing activity funding, and utilising HSC's parent company, Carphone Warehouse, to offer a wide range of generic handsets for everyone connecting with them.'

The distributor is currently paying an additional £40 bonus on all new business connections on Orange.

HSC said it is 'committed to working closely with both Orange and T-Mobile in advance of the two companies combined channel model', expected later this year.
