Phones 4u
Phones 4u has some cheap low-end prepay deals. Nokia’s 2610 has been cut from £14.95 to £9.95 on Vodafone, and the Nokia 2630 now costs £24.95. Samsung’s E250 has also been reduced from £34.95 to £24.95 on Virgin Mobile.
The retailer’s exclusive pink version of the Samsung Soul is proving popular with the ladies, according to staff. It comes with 700 minutes and unlimited texts for £25 per month on the Dolphin 25 tariff.
Carphone Warehouse
The point of sale at Carphone Warehouse hasn’t changed as often as it usually does, with the same deals for laptops and mobile broadband in its windows for the last few weeks. One deal is Toshiba’s P300-148 laptop, which costs £199 with either a mobile or fixed-line deal.
LG’s Secret is now being promoted, and, like Sony Ericsson’s C902, it is free with £35-per-month deals on O2 and Orange.
O2
Home broadband still seems to be the priority for O2. The network is promoting its deals with pictures of howling dogs on rooftops, which have taken out an entire side of an O2 store in London. O2 customers signing up to a one-year deal for 8GB will be charged £7.50 per month, while non-O2 customers will have to pay £12.50.
Sony Ericsson’s latest Cyber-shot device, the C902, comes with a free 4GB memory card, 600 minutes and unlimited texts for £30 per month with a 24-month tariff.
And the rest…
T-Mobile is offering the LG Shine for £69.99 with £10 top-up, and two Samsung devices have also been cut in price; the G600 has £50 knocked off and now costs £149.99, and the U600 has had a £60 reduction, and is now available for £89.99.
Sony Ericsson’s W380i retains pride of place in Orange’s store windows. The network is also offering £150 credit for customers who recycle their old handsets and sign up to a £30-per-month Solo business plan. The deal also comes with 600 minutes and unlimited texts, and a free Samsung Solid.
