HTC takes total handsets to 14 under own label

HTC unveiled its latest phone for the consumer market, the Touch HD, which has a five-megapixel camera and GPS.

It is the manufacturer’s 14th handset since it started producing handsets under its own brand last summer.

The Touch HD (left), which will be available in time for Christmas, is designed for watching movies or browsing the web. HTC has also launched two other devices, the Touch 3G and Touch Viva. A white version of the Touch Diamond was launched last week.
