Online deals now in store

Vodafone

Vodafone is offering ‘online offers in store’, with Samsung’s Steel free with £25-per-month deals, with unlimited texts and 600 minutes.

Sony Ericsson’s C902 has its own special display unit in Vodafone’s store window. Online, those after the latest Cyber-shot device can save £135 over the course of an 18-month contract, with £5 off the monthly line rental, and the first three months half price, at £15. It also comes with 600 minutes and unlimited texts.

Two of Vodafone’s own-brand prepay devices, the Vodafone 716 and the Vodafone 810, come with a free 2GB memory card. The 716 costs £30, and the 810 is £50.

Orange
The number of handsets available with £15-per-month deals at Orange stores has increased. Customers can now get Motorola’s V8, Sony Ericsson’s W580i in grey or Nokia’s 6301 free with the tariff, along with unlimited texts and 100 minutes.

Samsung’s U600 is still the main prepay deal at Orange stores. It comes in purple, and costs £79.99.

Customers who are after an Apple device can get their hands on a Touch when they sign up to a talk plan of £35 or more, with a choice of either a Nokia 6500 Slide, a Samsung U600, Sony Ericsson’s W910i
or Motorola’s E8.

Carphone Warehouse

Samsung’s iPhone rival, the Tocco, is exclusive to Carphone Warehouse stores in silver and brown, and can be picked up free with £30-per-month deals.

Sandwich boards outside the store invite customers to ‘take Kylie home’, from £79.95, with an exclusive Nokia 5310 XpressMusic device in pink for £79.95 with Talkmobile.

Samsung’s B100 in black is available for only £4.95 on Orange, or customers can take the handset only for £49.95. Another low-end handset in black, the Nokia 1650, is exclusive to Carphone from £14.95.

And the rest…

There is still no sign of any replacement iPhone stock in O2 stores, with staff saying that frustrated customers have been offering to buy display models.

With Orange Solo 40 plans, JAG customers can get a free Sony Ericsson W910i and a free HP laptop with 1350 minutes’ talktime, 200 text messages, unlimited landline calls and 3MB of data usage. And on T-Mobile Combi 30 plans, the same handset is available with 600 minutes of talktime, unlimited text messages and a free remote controlled helicopter and iPod Nano 4GB.

On 3, Nokia’s 3120, exclusive to 3 stores, comes with 300 minutes or texts, for £15 per month.
