Gillespie, Fone Logistics MD, blames economic situation for job losses
Fone Logistics has made two redundancies in a bid to streamline its business.
Ian Morris was dropped as channel manager for the distributor’s O2 select business programme, and Bernie Nunn lost his regional manager post covering Scotland.
It is not known who will cover both these areas, but their posts will not be directly replaced.
Ian Gillespie, managing director at Fone Logistics, said the job cuts have led to a slight re-shuffle. He said: ‘We still have a big team and we’re allocating their accounts. We’ve reduced the team because of the economic situation. You have to act in these times, you can’t just sit back and wait.’ |
