Nokia launches ‘Come Get Entertained’ strapline for X6

Nokia launches ‘Come Get Entertained’ strapline for X6 - Mobile news

Manufacturer to focus on entertainment for the launch of its X6 handset

Nokia will promote its upcoming X6 handset with the strapline ‘Come Get Entertained’.

The X6 Comes With Music phone will be launched on 24 February, backed by a multimillion pound integrated campaign featuring competitions to win the handset.

Fiona Bosman, head of brand at Nokia UK, said: ‘This campaign will really engage our audience. Nokia will be creating lots of exclusive and exciting content throughout the campaign that will really bring each aspect of this brilliant device to life, reminding consumers that the X6 is a must have all round entertainer.’

Nokia revealed its results for the fourth quarter ended 31 December last week. It said it shipped 127 million phones – an increase of 12% on 2008, and saw its marketshare increase by 2% to 39%.

Around 4.6 million Nseries devices and  6.1 million Eseries devices were shipped during the period. Although its global handset sales increased overall, there was a decline in sales in Europe, Latin America and North America.
