New software and service boss and business mobility head join Nokia

Nokia is adding to its management team with the appointment of Adrian Williams (pictured) as head of business mobility, and Rupert Englander as head of software and services for Go-To-Market (GTM) UK (i.e ensuring smooth transition of products from production to shops).

Williams, who previously led the business mobility team at T-Mobile, will be responsible for Nokia’s business sales team in providing mobile, fixed-mobile convergence and security services.

Englander will manage the services as well as the life-cycle of the products. He has worked for operators for the last eight years.

Ainslie said: ‘Adrian and Rupert will be valuable additions to the Nokia UK team, as Nokia continues to push the boundaries of both the consumer and business-mobile marketplace.

Ainslie appointed Mark Loughran as sales director and Will Harris as marketing director shortly after taking the reins at Nokia’s UK division in June 2006.

Ainslie said: ‘The Nokia I inherited is very different. We have a completely new management team over the last 12 months.

‘We have a very capable team in the UK that has been commented on by the operators, and was recognised in terms of us winning Manufacturer of the Year at the Mobile Industry Awards.’
