Samsung readies Galaxy S II Plus

Jelly Bean flavoured version of the manufacturer's bestselling handset

Samsung has unveiled an updated version of its Galaxy S II handset, which runs Android Jelly Bean.

No UK release date has been confirmed for the device, which is a new spin on the handset that has sold at least 28 million units. The handset shares the same 4.3-inch screen as the origional S II and has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.

Among the features are Popup Video, allowing consumers to play content anywhere on the screen in a resizeable video while running other tasks, Voice Unlock and its voice control feature S Voice. The handset has an eight-megapixel camera.
