O2 serves ‘do not deal’ on Fone Solutions

O2 serves ‘do not deal’ on Fone Solutions - Mobile news

Fone Solutions chief Nick Lea is understood to be challenging the termination

O2 confirmed that it has banned Fone Solutions from selling O2 contracts this week.

Fone Solutions chief Nick Lea is understood to be challenging the termination from O2. At the centre of the dispute is an allegation that a Fone Solutions employee was impersonating a customer, a claim Lea vehemently denies.

He said Fone Solutions was given clear consent by a customer to act on her behalf and is confident the company has a thorough trail of emails to corroborate his assertion.

Lea, the former Fone Logistics and Carphone Warehouse distribution sales chief, was selling O2 through Avenir.

O2 would not comment other than to say it had issued a ‘do not deal’ notice on Fone Solutions.

Lea declined to comment.
