Phones 4u is now exclusively selling the new White Omnia, the touch-screen phone hailed as a true iPhone competitor.

The release provokes more competition between the Omnia and the iPhone, and the iPhone’s white version has also just been released in O2 stores.

The Omnia is a PDA-style touch-screen phone, windows compatible with GPS, extendable to 16GB of memory and a five-megapixel camera.

It is available free on an 18-month, £50-per-month contracts at Vodafone. It is currently being promoted on a £100 cashback deal.

A Phones 4u spokeswoman said: ‘We're excited to be able to offer our customers not only an advanced and cutting edge handset, but added choice with an alternative and sleek white colour variant.’
