Phones 4u in-store Christmas tactics revealed
The retailer seeks out the credit crunch customer with Christmas incentives
Phones 4u is using a range of tactics to bring in sales during the remaining seven weeks of the year.
Staff are being offered an extra £5 commission to sell laptops on contracts on top of their normal commissions, taking the total to £14.
Phones 4u is also set to bring out a buy-now-pay-later incentive for Christmas shoppers on a tight budget.
Products, such as Sim-free handsets and laptops, will be available in monthly installments.
The Christmas enticement is set to be trialled next month, initially in larger London stores.
Finally, the retailer is also offering up to £100 cashback for customers who trade in their old phones when they sign up for new contracts.
