P4u tempts iPhone customers towards Tocco

Phones 4u has rolled out a new customer offer designed to convert upgrading users of the original iPhone towards the Samsung Tocco.

The retailer is offering consumers £269 cash back when they bring in their 2G iPhone and sign up for a new contract with a Tocco.

The Samsung device has regularly drawn comparisons to the iPhone since its release due to its similar looks and large touch screen.

The Tocco compares favouably with the iPhone on the camera front, boasting a 5 megapixel camera compared to the iPhones’ 2 megapixel offering. It’s also cheaper; it’s available for free on £30 contracts, compared to the £99 iPhone price tag.

However, the Tocco lacks the slick user friendliness, intuition and status of the Apple device.
