Faced with bigger rivals and a controlling and cash-demanding parent company in Bonn, Jim Hyde has had to be creative and clever in formulating a strategy with a limited acquisition budget. He has taken an active role in both the network sharing deal with 3, carved out a plan around mid-level prepay and pushed Sim-only deals. He enjoys using technology products, and is an enthusiastic supporter for mobile broadband and internet on phones.
