As traditional mobile revenue streams become more and more diverse, M2M is certainly at the forefront of most operator’s future strategies. 3 proved it is the centre of this move after it signed its first M2M partner, Stream in May this year. Gardner, who was a driving force behind the deal, has certainly made an impact since taking on his role in 2009. His job is to strategically identify and integrate specialist MVNOs to take the 3 network and package it for the fast growing M2M Market. Youthful Gardner has certainly been a fast mover. After beginning his career at AIRCOM International as a marketing executive in 2003, he was managing the Eastern European Region for all AIRCOM’S Mobile Network Planning and Optimisation Software and Services. Expect big things to come.
