Samsung has launched a new handset called Steel, an exclusive-to-Vodafone slider phone. 

The Steel features a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus, a large 2.2” screen and with 3G broadband speeds (up to 7.2Mbps), users can download games, video clips, music or emails quickly.

The Samsung Steel has a music player with up to 8GB of storage and Bluetooth connectivity and video calling capabilities. It’s priced at £130 on pay as you talk or free on contract.

Vodafone UK has also launched the slim slider Samsung Soul in pink.  The Samsung Soul has a touch-sensitive control panel, meaning key presses are accompanied by a vibrate sensation.

The Soul has a fully featured 5 megapixel camera with up to x12 digital zoom, autofocus, autoflash, image stabilisation and face detection for picture framing. Priced free on contracts or £300 on Pay as you talk.
