Samsung teams up with Phones 4u and 3 to build sales

It comes as Samsung and Nokia are neck and neck on market share. Samsung is making sales to the 3G operator a key target in its strategy for more growth. It already has two handsets on 3 and is rumoured to be close to a deal for its Tocco device.
3 views the arrival of the Korean manufacturer as a boost to its credibility, and is likely to feature Samsung products in its marketing, giving a further boost to the manufacturer.
Meanwhile, Samsung has given Phones 4u an exclusive on the White Omnia − the touch-screen phone hailed as a true iPhone competitor.
The release provokes more competition between the Omnia and the iPhone. A white version of the iPhone has also just been released in O2 stores.
