Sony Ericsson X1 Xperia shortages

Sony Ericsson’s X1 Xperia has experienced stock issues as many stores have sold out and others have yet to receive the device.

In a survey of retailers many stores were out of stock of the Xperia and were yet to receive additional volumes of the handset.

There appears to be considerable demand for the high-end device.

One Carphone Warehouse staffer said: ‘It’s not had much exposure yet. I think they’re cautious of offering it due to stock shortages, like there was on the BlackBerry Bold.’
