New system to support operator’s aggressive pricing plans

T-Mobile has signed up a customer acquisition and retention service to its UK call centres and retail outlets, as the network continues its push to win new customers.

The operator has enlisted the help of the CInergy Accelerated Intelligence system to support its recent aggressive pricing plans including the new minutes guarantee – the best minutes allowance on the market for £30 per month – which is being backed by a £17m multimedia campaign.

Gavin Sugden, market intelligence manager at T-Mobile, said: ‘CInergy's Accelerated Intelligence gives us the competitor intelligence we need to implement new marketing initiatives that will enhance the services we offer our customers.’

Lee Mostari, customer services manager at T-Mobile, added: ‘This is a great tool to give our agents the information they need to handle customer enquiries in a very timely manner.

‘The feedback has been very positive, as the agents can see how simple it is to use the tool and what to do to match or beat a competitor offer – and this will help us drive customer satisfaction across our customer base.’
