Vodafone’s new group CEO was confronted by 3’s regulatory director, Tim Lord, at a regulatory event last week and reacted strongly to questions about faster porting times.
Lord asked Vittorio Collao why Vodafone was not acting to provide the sort of fast porting times it offers to its customers in Ireland.
Collao is reported to have responded angrily: ‘You’re bloody wrong, you’re bloody wrong.’
He added: ‘For a consumer, of course 20 minutes is better than two days. One minute would be better. Telepathy is even better.’
