When was Savin Communications established?
We have been around since 2005. We set up as a mobile b2b and have slowly moved into fixed line.
Where are you based?
We are based in Brentford, London.
How many staff do you employ?
There are two co-directors, myself and my partner, four sales guys and two admin people who are responsible for processing sales and customer service. The sales team is field based – they all manage their customers face to face.
What is your typical client profile?
We tend to work with small to medium sized companies that have 10 to 100 mobiles. Many clients come to us because they haven’t received the hand holding from their previous dealer that they are looking for.
What makes Savin Communications stand out?
We have just 0.5% churn, based on last year. Everybody is responsible for their customers and we look to retain our existing base before we acquire new clients. We are right at the top of service and have invested in Salesforce software, which enables us to actively manage our customers anywhere – whether that is from our mobiles or from computers at home.
What networks do you connect?
We are an Orange business specialist partner, an O2 Approved partner and we also connect Vodafone. We try to keep it as even as possible because we are independent.
Which distributors do you use?
We use Avenir Telecom and Anglia Telecom. We just topped Avenir’s ‘All I want for Christmas’ programme.
Are you looking at expansion in the New Year?
We will have openings for three new sales guys by the end of March.
What is your bestselling product?
BlackBerrys on the BIS and BES systems – we do in-house installations of BES and have the expertise to go with it.
What phone do you use?
I’ve got the BlackBerry 8900 Curve.
