There are 12 people who work in the telecoms business. They range from telesales, admin and representatives.
Where are you based?
Our head offices are based in Newport, South Wales and we also have offices in Cardiff and Bristol. Most of our business is in Bristol because there are bigger companies there and the city is not as saturated as in other areas.
What is the key to your success?
We are based purely on analysing bills on a monthly basis and through that we manage to retain 90% of business. It is not just about sales, it is about retention as well.
What is your typical customer profile?
We connect anything up to 250 handsets. A lot of our appointments are made through our own telesales team.
What is your bestselling product?
We do a lot of BlackBerry and data solutions and have set ourselves up as consultants that are able to make a cost reduction.
Do you sell any other products?
We sell the Anglia Telecom fixed-line product and have built up quite a client base of fixed-line customers. We are now moving into lone worker solutions, which we started selling towards the middle of last year.
What are your plans for 2010?
To build up the lone working solutions and to cross sell across the group of companies that 10 Comms exists within.
What phone do you use?
The BlackBerry Curve 8900 and the Nokia N95 8GB.
