Former 20:20 exec starts apps distributor
Former 20:20 sales director David Hinc has left the distributor to start his own app distribution business, Mobile Apps Warehouse.

Hinc has been with 20:20 since 2008 where he was responsible for building up the distributor’s applications portfolio.

Mobile Apps Warehouse will target dealers and retailers such as supermarkets and high street chains to sell apps.

Hinc will be developing the business to become an app aggregator for different channels in the market looking for different types of applications.

The product portfolio offered by Mobile Apps Warehouse includes lone worker solutions, mobile security, sat nav and mobile device management.

Hinc said: ‘Mobile Apps Warehouse specialise in understanding the market, ensuring any product that we endorse is the best solution within any particular product sector. We already have a solid portfolio of market leading propositions with many more currently being evaluated, tested and multiple deployment options created.’

Hinc was previously responsible for 20:20’s mobile app strategy and also worked at Unique Distribution.
