Azzurri slows acquisitions in favour of organic growth
Martin Flick, Azzurri's mobility and converged solutions director told Mobile said: ‘The view from the board is that organic growth is the way forward for the short to medium term. In terms of putting together the jigsaw we believe we have built the solution and size we need with the constituent parts we need.’
Flick said tougher market conditions are bringing Azzurri new opportunities. He said: ‘The austerity budget opens up a real opportunity to transform public sector services and the private sector is always looking at the bottom line profit. We are at the start of a revolution.’
Bad weather, flu outbreaks and Government policy are also driving up business, Flick added.
‘Last year the inclement weather and the Swine Flu scare showed that organisations need to be agile and dynamic when people can’t get to the office and more flexible in the way they work since these sorts of events are likely to reoccur. Recent Government legislation is also driving organisations to allow a percentage of the workforce to work flexibly,’ he said.
