Santok launches new range of wireless landlines
Santok has launched a new range of wireless desk phones that run on the Android operating system.
The company said the new range will allow businesses to be more flexible with their telecom spend. The device is linked to a mobile operator rather than fixed line. The launch device is the Tecdesk 3500, which has access to apps including Skype, full synchronisation with contacts and calendar on a PC, an LCD colour screen as well as conference call and transfer functionality.
A spokesperson for Santok said: 'There are a new breed of business interrogating theirtelecom costs and infrastructure. Fixed Wireless phones fit in with the fast-changing, flexible needs common in these modern businesses.'This also represents a major new category for the mobile operators, dealers anddistributors to pursue a massive new revenue source at a time of total market saturation and pressure on the traditional mobile business.'
