Mainline gets boost from Nokia incentive scheme

Distributor Mainline has increased its EE connections by 15%, after holding a Nokia incentive scheme.

Dubbed Gateway to Norway, the three month points based promotion aimed to increase sales of Nokia handsets. It said the connection target was beaten by 86%. Dealers competed in leagues against businesses of a similar size and earned points for connections made, as well as double points for any Nokia devices sold. The winners of the four leagues won a trip to Norway.

Andrew Boden, Mainline managing director, said: 'This incentive has been a great success and our dealers performed brilliantly to beat our Nokia sales target. The series of Nokia training sessions that we ran during the programme to support our participating dealers also contributed to a boost in sales resulting in a successful promotion.'
