Daisy Group has appointed Azzurri's former corporate account manager Mark Boden to a newly created role of maintenance specialist.
Boden will be in charge of the distributor's maintenance offering, with a focus on customer acquisition, retention and developing cross-selling opportunities.
Andrew Goldwater, managing director of Daisy's retail division, said: 'If a business’ telephone system goes down the impact can be crippling. We understand how important maintenance is to our customers and what a business needs from their provider.
'By appointing Mark into this role we not only have his specialist expertise in this area, but it provides us with the resource to enhance our overall proposition and ensure we don’t miss out on any opportunities.'
Boden spent 12 years at Azzurri, mainly as a business development specialist for its support services. He said: 'The growth opportunity for maintenance products and services within Daisy is phenomenal and I am joining the business at a very exciting time.'The business has built a reputation of being one of the largest and most responsive maintenance providers in the communications sector and I am looking forward to working with the product and marketing team to create some stand-out propositions for Daisy customers.'
