Growth leads to rebranding for GSUK
Environmental solutions company GSUK is set to rebrand as Recyclewise by the end of the year.
The four-year-old company, part of Genuine Solutions Group, has seen ‘continuous growth’ over the past four years as demand for recycling mobile accessories and handsets has increased. The firm recovers and reprocesses both scrap material and unsold stock from retailers. By the end of 2010, the company was reprocessing 1.2 million units. By the end of 2011 this had more than doubled, and GSUK is predicting it will top four million by the end of 2012.
Genuine Solutions Group already uses the Recyclewise name for the business that runs its recycling schemes for charities but the rebranding will bring all of the group’s reprocessing companies under one name. GSUK managing director Ewan Fraser told Mobile: ‘The rebranding is to make sure there is no confusion with any other companies within the group. It’s also to acknowledge the phenomenal growth of the company.’
Fraser said the company was on the verge of signing a new recycling deal with a manufacturer in the new year. It is also planning to expand internationally and roll out business development teams in Europe.
