Ingram Micro EMEA has appointed a new executive managing director for its UK and Ireland business.
Brent McCarty was most recently in charge of the distributor's consumer electronics division, a job he has held since 2009. He replaces Matt Sanderson, who has gone back to Australia to run the business' operations there. McCarty will report to Johan Vandenbussche, regional vice-president for the UK, Belgium and Netherlands.
McCarty's new responsibilities will comprise leading the UK and Ireland business, including the offices in Milton Keynes and Maidenhead, as well as its Daventry distribution centre.
