Managed networks provider MLL Telecom has promoted Peter Jennings to the role of chief technology officer.
Jennings, who was formerly head of pre-sales, design and architecture, will be charge of overseeing the company's strategy during the forthcoming 4G auction. He will be based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire and also be in charge of business development, product management, engineering, IT, design, solutions architecture and bid management.
He will report to CEO Gary Marven, who said: 'Peter’s drive, dedication and in-depth understanding of the sector and technology developments, made him the perfect man for the role. I have no doubt that MLL Telecom will go from strength to strength with Peter as its CTO.'
Jennings added: 'Providing the best network solutions possible for all our customers, whilst continuing to drive and achieve MLL Telecom growth success during 2013, is a key focus for me. With the recent decision to bid in the UK’s 4G auction – this year is set to be an interesting time for all concerned at MLL Telecom.'
Jennings previously worked at Nokia Siemens Networks and Motorola Networks.
