Vodafone Platinum partner PMGC Technology Group (PMGC) is extending its unified comms services with the launch of a managed hosting solution which will sit in a newly formed PMGC managed hosting division.
The group has taken on Imran Boota, former Coirex MD, as sales and marketing director of the new division. PMGC has also taken on Shazad Boota, former Coirex operations director, as the division’s technical and operations director.
The managed hosting service includes access to PMGC’s dedicated engineers, based at two network operation centre sites which will provide round the clock support.
PMGC MD Jason Yeomans (pictured) said: ‘This is an exciting time for PMGC as we look to build on our customer offering. Our goal has always been to bring solutions to market that enable customers to work smarter, do better business and not worry about the administration, maintenance and management that is so often required when deploying major IT solutions. Our managed hosting service provides that perfectly.’
Shazad Boota said: ‘We’re really excited to launch PMGC’s new managed hosting solution. It will provide current and future customers with a scalable and robust platform to expand and grow without having to worry about the maintenance or support which so often hampers IT solutions delivered on premise.’
PMGC is planning to expand the service, launching an e-commerce service this quarter which will allow customers to provision their own server space through an online portal.
PMGC was created in April last year from the acquisition of Vodafone Platinum partners Premier Mobile and Phonebox. The group aims to become one of the UK's largest telecoms and IT solutions providers. The deal created a company with over 54,000 connections and annual revenues of over £10m. Jason Yeomans, who was formerly the MD of Premier Mobile, is the majority shareholder of PMGC.
