EE pledges compensation after delays
EE is looking at compensating Orange and T-Mobile b2b dealers for the loss of thousands of pounds of revenues as its payments crisis continues into its eleventh week.
The problems began after EE integrated its Orange and T-Mobile dealer payment platforms in late October.
This week, as EE continued to struggle to resolve the issues, it revealed plans to compensate dealers hit by the crisis.
An EE spokesman said: ‘Compensation is being considered on a case-by-case basis. We are also providing emergency interim payments and where we are aware companies are at breaking point we will step in to help.’
EE is also working through the backlog of payments, the spokesman said, warning that was a slow process. He said: ‘Unfortunately it is a very manual process and the volume is causing difficulties.’
