20:20 Mobile has inked a UK exclusive distribution agreement with Bullitt Group for Cat branded mobile phones.
The move is part of Bullitt's drive to make Cat branded phones the largest selling ruggedised phones in the UK by 2015.
Bullitt Group is the worldwide licensee and manufacturer of Cat branded rugged mobile devices and the agreement will see 20:20 Mobile become the exclusive UK distribution partner for all sales channels.
The agreement builds on 20:20 Mobile’s existing exclusive distribution agreements with Bullitt Group in Germany and the Nordics.
James Browning, 20:20 Mobile UK MD, said: ‘We’re delighted that Bullitt Group have chosen 20:20 Mobile as their UK distribution partner. The Cat phone brand is an exciting and unique proposition and is a perfect fit for our B2C and B2B routes to market.’
Andrew Peat, 20:20 Mobile purchasing and marketing director said: ‘There continues to be a demand for rugged mobile devices but the market has until now been underserved by product. The Cat phone proposition is not only fit for purpose but also as a brand uniquely appeals to our retail and business channels.’
Richard Wharton, CEO at Bullitt Mobile said: ‘We have already built up a hugely successful and effective relationship with 20:20 Nordics and 20:20 Germany. Extending this relationship wasn’t a difficult decision for us. 20:20 fully recognise the opportunity and value of the Cat brand in the rapidly expanding rugged niche and have more than demonstrated the commitment to support us in our objective of making Cat the number one rugged phone brand by 2015.’
