Genuine Solutions has pledged to raise £10,000 in 2013 to help fund the Rainbow Trust's 24-hour emergency help line.
The Rainbow Trust specialises in providing emotional and practical support to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. The charity runs the 24 hour helpline to ensure an immediate response for those parents in need.
Genuine Solutions chief executive Chris McBride said: 'The charity survives almost entirely on donations with a minimal amount coming from government support. When we saw what was achieved by this charity we were very pleased to offer our support.'
The company has agreed to support any member of staff who offers to raise funds for the Rainbow Trust, after the charity visited its headquarters in Surbiton, Surrey.
Genuine Solutions will sponsor every member of its staff to the value of £50 to help raise funds for the charity.
Staff members will raise funds via the Nuts Challenge which involves a Nightrider 100K cycle ride around London on 8 June and the GS Sky Dive on 10 August..
Kirstie Whitcombe-Smith, who is co-ordinating the events on behalf of Genuine Solutions, said: 'Over 100 employee’s have already committed themselves to take part in one or more than one of the events which is fantastic. But there is always room for more people. We currently have two spaces for a skydiving event.'
Genuine Solutions already supports a number of national and local charities through its Recyclewise scheme
