Ingram Micro signs up Oaisys

Ingram Micro has signed up calling recording technology company Oaisys as one of its vendors.

The wholesaler said the deal was part of its growing focus on unified communication products. Oaisys, which has been trading in the UK since 2002, also sells call centre management software.

Jon Bunyard, director of the advanced solutions UK division of Ingram Micro, said: 'The addition of Oaisys to our vendor lineup, combined with ShoreTel, Microsoft Lync, Cisco and Jabra, lends significant weight to our value proposition in the unified communications space which is being taken to market by a team led by Annette Reynolds.'We look forward to developing a strong working relationship with Oaisys and helping facilitate their growth in the UK channel.

Oaisys MD Kevin Burns said: 'We are very pleased that Ingram Micro have chosen to sell the Oaisys voice documentation and call recording solution alongside the ShoreTel platform under the UC enterprise. Voice compliance and quality monitoring requirements are growing concerns for the SMB and midmarket. This distribution agreement with Ingram Micro allows our partners to capitalise on that rising demand.'
