EE partners hit by 'multiple system outages'
EE's partners have been hit with further IT problems, with a system failure meaning dealers are unable to complete any account actions.
The outage affects EE, Orange and T-Mobile partners and follows a problem earlier today with SIM swaps. This issue has deteriorated and dealers have been told all account actions have been broken 'due to multiple system outages'. It said: 'This will result in a delay on all connection requests and account queries being processed.'
An EE spokesperson said it was looking into the matter. It is the latest in a flurry of IT problems that have beset the operator since it merged its back-office payment systems late last year. Dealers have been experiencing delays to revenue payments and incorrect upfront payments. EE appeared to be getting to grips with the problem, saying earlier this month that it would pay Orange and T-Mobile partners three months of commissions in advance to cover any payment issues between January and March 2013.
