Micro-P has taken on Stuart Bruce to head up sales at Attach, its newly launched accessories division.
Bruce will spearhead Micro-P’s drive into the accessories market, which has seen the distributor bringing together its mobile and IT accessories ranges.
Bruce brings over six years of experience in mobile accessories sales, having worked for Nokia’s global accessories sales division for five years between February 2007 and January 2012 before taking up the role of BlackBerry’s accessories channel manager for the Middle East, based in Dubai.
Bruce was also part of the team that set up Hutchinson Three’s Ireland division, establishing the sales team, and was head of sales between 2005 and 2007.
Speaking to Mobile, Bruce said he wants to maximise accessories sales by building new and innovative bundled propositions. He said: ‘I want to drive sales across all channels using my knowledge of both the vendor and the operator sides. I want to develop the proposition so that all channels can maximise the attached sale, so that the host device can be sold with accessories as a total proposition.’
Bruce said he was attracted to Micro-P as ‘a fast growing company, with a young, dynamic team – very customer focused and with a very strategic view of mobile and IT convergence.’
