Daisy Distribution is launching a series of 4G training days for partners and launched a new Vodafone partner promotion.
The workshops will be held with EE in Daisy’s offices in Manchester, London, Newcastle and Ipswich. They will show partners how to sell next generation services and explain their benefits to the business market. Julien Parven, marketing director at Daisy Distribution, said: ‘As 4G rapidly becomes more accessible throughout the UK’s towns and cities, we are finding that there still exists an air of ambiguity among partners when it comes to the new spectrum. By offering these workshops to our partner base and beyond, we not only look to educate our own partners, but add value to the channel and its awareness of the platform.’
The new Vodafone reward scheme could result in partners winning a business development grant of £1,500. Partners who take part in the scheme will need to hit targets set by Vodafone’s Perfect Partner programme, which are 75 new connections, signing up 15% to One Net Express and to have a quarterly churn of below 10%. The promotion will run until the end of June.
Parven (pictured) said: ‘With this new promotion we are giving our partners the chance to arm themselves with the funds to market new offerings such as Microsoft 365, which are on the horizon from Vodafone.
‘We are hoping that this type of incentive scheme will not only give our partners a clear focus for the quarter, but in return they will be rewarded with money to invest in beneficial marketing activity.’
Meanwhile, parent company Daisy Group has launched a new resource centre, offering support for UK businesses. Among the forums and advice on business issues, the website will also provide service updates for Daisy customers, which means they can see how their communication services are performing.
Daisy Group marketing director Kate O’Brien said: ‘Putting a huge wealth of independent and practical communications advice in one easy place, the resource centre is aimed at all businesses, whether they are Daisy customers or not. As a central hub, it means owners don’t have to spend valuable business hours hunting out or paying to access support or information on how technology can benefit their business.’
