Ingram Micro Mobility joins forces with Gamma and Lucid to launch dealer seminars

Ingram Micro Mobility, Gamma and Lucid are launching the first in a series of partner business development sessions, in association with Mobile B2B, this month.

The event will take place at the Manor Hotel in Buckinghamshire on 15 May. It will focus on how the b2b channel can thrive in the midst of the economic downturn. Among the topics that will be under discussion are how to offer clients a converged solution, how to use email more effectively to market products and services and how to expand a business's proposition. Gamma will discuss how a business can diversify its products and services by launching its own MVNO.

The session, which begins at 10am, is exclusive for Ingram Micro Mobility resellers. The first 50 registrants can attend for free and the event costs £50, including refreshments.

Ryan David, senior marketing manager at Ingram Micro Mobility said: 'Ingram Micro Mobility is pleased to be working with Mobile B2B and supporting their inaugural business development seminar.

‘This event is a great way for B2B resellers to hear from a number of industry experts, including our product director, on a variety of topics, in only a half day. It’s important to take time out of our busy diaries to look at new opportunities and initiatives that help to drive our businesses forward and this is one of them. We look forward to discussing how Ingram Micro Mobility can help resellers.’

Justin Coombes, head of marketing at Gamma, added: ‘Disgruntled by the dealer models offered by the major mobile network networks, we see a huge opportunity for mobile dealers who can add more value to their business by becoming an MVNO.

‘This event with Mobile and Ingram Micro Mobility offers the perfect platform for us to convey Gamma’s Mobile MVNO service which uniquely offers dealers a billing service alongside customer ownership, control over brand and instant control over the mobile network. We’re looking forward to the conference and meeting new partners.’

David Nunn, editor in chief of Mobile, said: ‘The changing face of the b2b landscape means that businesses need to adapt to survive. This half day seminar will offer a number of essential proof points that dealers can bring to their business. Innovation is at the heart of the best b2b companies and this seminar will show how you can become one of them.’
