Graham Cameron is joining Crystal Ball as its channel business development director.
Cameron’s previous role was as partner head of northern region at O2, where he worked for 20 years.
Crystal Ball, which provides mobile tracking, vehicle tracking, asset tracking and lone worker protection solutions, said Cameron will bring the company ‘invaluable channel experience, in-depth understanding of the mobile community and established relationships with a number of our existing partners.’
In a message to resellers, Cameron said: ‘My move to Crystal Ball may come as a surprise to some of you who know me, but it was made because of a genuine excitement about the diverse product range which I have seen develop over the years. Combine this with a rapidly expanding market, the timing is right.
‘It’s almost 10 years ago that the arrival of email on the move provided us all with the opportunity to grow our mobile bases with existing customers and increase mobile revenues at the same time. Since then, I have not seen another product which has done the same, until now.’
He added: ‘Crystal Ball’s solutions are well positioned to deliver the same benefits as they will provide partners the ability to increase their mobile estates and revenues once again.
'Customers previously provided additional handsets to white collar employees who had not been supplied with a mobile before. Today, it’s the entire remote workforce who are provided with smartphones, in many cases for the first time, with apps to improve productivity, business efficiencies, and protection for the employee.’
