Vodafone integrates Partner Programme

Vodafone has created a fully integrated partner programme for fixed, mobile and IT services resellers, backing dealers with a 'substantial investment' in training.

Partners have been told of the changes at an event in Manchester today. Vodafone launched a promotion to resellers for them to sell converged products. The new partner programme will also involve employee training by the Vodafone Sales Academy, as the operator hopes to ‘develop the capabilities of partners to deliver more Vodafone products and services’ to its growing business customer base.

The announcement follows Vodafone’s purchase of Cable and Wireless Worldwide (CWW), and its £900 million outlay towards improving its voice and data infrastructure and creating an advanced IP network. 

Rob Mukherjee, head of Vodafone Partner Services, said that a combination of an improved network and partner capabilities will offer increasing benefits to customers and partners. He said: ‘With the acquisition of CWW we were able to accelerate our vision of creating a truly integrated fixed, mobile and IT services partner programme.  We will continue to work closely with our partners on the new Vodafone Partner Programme to maintain a long-term focus that greatly benefits all parties involved – especially customers.’
