Daisy forecasts greater mobile growth
Communication services business Daisy Group said revenue and EBITDA is ‘in line with management expectations’ at the half year point.
In a statement the group said it expected to meet full year market expectations after winning a number of contracts and inking new commercial arrangements with Vodafone to grow the mobile business in the period. Daisy said it believes the new revenue deal with Vodafone will ‘accelerate the growth of the mobile business’ by raising mobile margins over the long term. The group said its Daisy Data Centre Solutions, the former 2e2 business, is making ‘very good progress’ in winning new contracts with its former customer base.
It also noted that the retail business has won a number of managed service contracts with public and private sector customers in the period. Daisy Group CEO Matthew Riley (pictured) said: 'I am pleased with the progress made during the period, particularly with the large managed service wins and the customer reaction to our acquisition of the hosting business DDCSL.
'We are very proud to be paying our first dividend following our acquisition strategy over the last few years and we reiterate our commitment to this whilst still being able to invest to support our mid market customers.'
The group will announce its results for the six months ended 30 September on 3 December 2013.
