Vodafone silver partner Frontier Telecom has rebranded to Frontier Group and launched a new website as it continues its drive into the unified comms market.
Speaking to Mobile MD Andrew Rowley said: 'We offer far more than just mobile and that is why we have rebranded and launched the new website - to better reflect what we offer as a business.'
The company products range from mobile, broadband, IT and VOIP services to a new consultancy division offering sales and business process training. Rowley said the new website www.thefrontiergroup.co.uk focuses on all the company's products, not just mobiles.
Frontier's rebranding follows strong growth which has seen the Newcastle based company's turnover rise from £500,000 to £650,000 with net profit up 15% over the 12 months to the end of December 2013.
Rowley attributes much of the company's growth to the growth of cross selling opportunities which the company's unified comms portfolio offers. Frontier has also recently opened an office in Cambridge to broaden its geographical spread.
Another key driver of growth is the company's decision to switch its focus from SOHOs and smaller SMEs to mid range companies taking between 25 -200 connections, as part of its drive into unified comms.
He said the move has reaped rewards. He explained: 'We recognised our existing customer base had very little penetration with most taking only one product because of their size. So six months ago we stopped prospecting for any deals with less than 10 connections, focusing on 25 connections or above. As a result we have had the best six months ever with three major wins of 200 or more connections each and some excellent Vodafone OneNet wins.
