Smartphone manufacturer Kazam has sealed a partnership deal with Exertis Micro-P after reviewing its distribution supply strategy.
The manufacturer aims to develop a series of unique service propositions with Exertis Micro-P to drive sales of its smartphone range.
Exertis Micro-P said both companies have an innovative approach to providing services to its customers.
Kazam launched its range of smartphones last year with a complete service wrap which includes a remote access repair service for customer’s devices and a free screen repair service. The manufacturer is also planning to expand its range of services this year.
Simon Woodman, mobile sales director at Exertis Micro-P, said: ‘We are excited to get Kazam onboard. It’s a new brand with a fresh view of the market, and we are very taken with its innovative approach to services. We will be looking at jointly developing propositions for certain areas of the market to enhance that service value-add.
Woodman said Kazam’s smartphone portfolio has broad appeal, adding: ‘Exertis Micro-P expects Kazam to make a strong impact in the UK teenage and senior market.’
Rakesh Odedra, Kazam UK and Ireland sales director, said: ‘For us it’s about finding the right kind of partnership. As a challenger brand Kazam is at the start of the journey; everyone has been excited with our propositions and portfolio but it is now about taking it to the next level.
‘We were impressed by the way Exertis Micro-P approached our business. As a company it shares a lot of the same values as Kazam, and we’re very happy to be working with the team.’
