Voice Mobile wins Best Unified Comms Dealer at Mobile Industry Awards

Voice Mobile, an EE principle partner, its celebrating its winning of the Best Unified Comms Dealer award at the Mobile Industry Awards last week.

‘Truly impressive – better than a lot of operators,’ was the judges’ assessment.

Voice Mobile employs its own team of software writers, who have come up with an ingenious cradle-to-grave CRM, which makes every piece of information from sale to bills and customer support available at every point in the sales or after care process, including online. The CRM provides the backbone for a highly effective business, which has seen profits grow nearly fivefold on the back of a 20% increase on the size of the base.

A nifty feature is the ability to automate communications, like welcome letter, customer surveys and prospecting through email, letters or diarising call backs. The company is forging ahead in unified comms, writing bespoke software to link customers’ mobiles to their data hubs.

It has also been highly active in demonstrating 4G, and in developing M2M solutions, including a major health installation for a water company that fires off alerts to engineers when unsatisfactory bacteria levels are around. A complex salary sacrifice scheme for customers also caught the eye.

‘A fantastic company, and a very impressive range of achievements,' said the judges, highlighting that recommendations and technology are the driving forces of sales. 'The only thing that could possibly hold them back is the name – they do so much more than voice!’ the judges added.

Voice Mobile beat Aerial, Citycom and Uplands Mobiles to take the award. Citycom was highly commended by the judges for its superb customer service and rapid growth. The company specialises in looking after high flying City companies with demanding needs for roaming and a desire for the personal touch.

Uplands was a breath of fresh air, making waves with its web and app building services and innovative business centres. Aerial had a strong year, adding over 19,000 new connections and forging into unified comms in a bigger way than ever before.
